Writing in general takes courage, yet writing well takes even more. There is a sort of bravery that is required for putting a pen to the page or fingers on a keyboard and actually making your thoughts physically visible. Just creating a crappy first draft takes a large amount of courage, not to mention the amount needed for rewriting and revising and editing and perfecting.
So congrats to all those writers out there who have gathered up the courage to put your words, your soul, onto paper. I know it can be scary, writing down the ideas you yourself thought of, but scary in a kind of awe-inspiring and transparent way.
This fear, ironically, is not something to be afraid of. It is genuine and creative. Embrace this inspiring fear, to some extent. Continue to write, even if it isn’t necessarily comfortable.
